To Departments of Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Medicine of Hospitals Nationwide:
In order to study and implement the spirit of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, promote the construction and development of the national fertility support system, and safeguard the reproductive health of women of childbearing age, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of Peking University Medicine, young medical workers in the field of reproductive medicine are encouraged to learn from Professor Zhang Lizhu’s patriotic devotion and sense of responsibility, to keep pioneering and forging ahead, to engage in innovation, and to advance together on the new journey. The National Clinical Research Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology Diseases of Peking University Third Hospital has decided to hold the First Review of the Zhang Lizhu Reproductive Medicine Youth Innovation Award.
The first review will focus on the theme of “Fertility Promotion”, emphasizing scientific research in frontier technologies for fertility preservation, fertility-supporting diagnosis and treatment techniques and strategies, and public health reproductive care, with the aim of assessing the innovation capabilities of young medical workers.

III. Eligibility
1. Applicants must be employed staff members in the specialty of reproductive medicine in hospitals, with at least one year of service.
2. Applicants must be under 45 years of age; in this year, applicants should be born on or after January 1, 1977.
3. Applicants must be graduates of Peking University Health Science Center.
IV. Schedule
(1) Launch Stage: In early December 2022, the application notice will be issued. Applicants must complete the application form (Appendix 1) by December 7, 2022. After confirmation and stamping by their institution, the electronic version and scanned copy with stamp, together with the stamped employment certificate, must be sent to the organizer’s contact email.
(2) Mail Review Stage: From 00:00, December 8, 2022 to 00:00, December 15, 2022, the organizer will conduct the mail review based on applicants’ materials, and select candidates for the defense stage.
(3) Defense Stage: In late December 2022, the list of candidates, defense rules, and detailed information will be published on the official website of the National Clinical Research Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology Diseases of Peking University Third Hospital. Applicants must attend the defense at the specified time, place, and in the specified manner. Those who fail to participate as required will be deemed to have forfeited.
